Description

Handwoven Boucherouite rug made from recycled fibres. An elongated format featuring a composition of interconnected diamonds and triangles that extends across the entire surface without leaving any empty background. Red, green, yellow, lilac, pink, and natural tones coexist within a dense and vibrant network of colour.

Its elongated format makes it particularly well suited to hallways, entrance spaces, or as a side rug in a living room. It can also be displayed on a wall, where its composition can be appreciated in its entirety.

As a handwoven vintage piece, it may display variations in the weave or small signs of age and use. These characteristics are part of its history and contribute to its unique character.

How to place it

This rug is handmade and is a vintage piece, so it may present irregularities inherent to its craftsmanship and the passage of time. Variations in the weave, fibre thickness or colour are part of its artisanal nature and should not be considered defects.

We endeavor to describe and display each piece with the utmost precision. As a piece with a previous life, it may show slight signs of use or minor repairs.

Care Instructions

For regular maintenance, simply vacuum gently using a medium or low setting and avoiding aggressive rotating brushes. If the size allows, vacuum in different directions to remove dust more effectively. You can also shake the rug out or air it occasionally.

Wool is a natural fibre with self-cleaning properties, so it does not require intensive cleaning.

If a stain appears, act quickly: blot the liquid without rubbing and clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Avoid chemical products that could damage the fibres or affect the colour. Leave the rug to air dry.

Natural fibres do not respond well to excessive water or intensive mechanical cleaning. The use of a washing machine is also not recommended.

Air the rug from time to time, even in some sunlight, to help keep it in good condition. It is also advisable to rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.

Avoiding the use of shoes and, if possible, placing a rug pad underneath can help protect the rug and extend its lifespan.

If the rug requires a deeper clean, we recommend taking it to a professional cleaning service.
