description
Berber rug in the Beni Ouarain tradition, handwoven in natural wool. Against a cream-coloured, high-pile ground, a lattice of brown diamonds traces the geometric grid characteristic of the style; towards the lower half the pattern shifts into earth and caramel tones, and woven red ends finish the piece.
It is a vintage piece. As with any handcrafted work, and all the more in a rug with years behind it, slight variations in pattern, texture or measurements may appear, along with small traces of time that are part of its history. We photograph it as faithfully as possible.
how to place it
This rug is handmade and is a vintage piece, so it may present irregularities inherent to its craftsmanship and the passage of time. Variations in the weave, fibre thickness or colour are part of its artisanal nature and should not be considered defects.
We endeavor to describe and display each piece with the utmost precision. As a piece with a previous life, it may show slight signs of use or minor repairs.
