Description
This rug is part of our vintage collection, a selection of handwoven pieces created by Amazigh artisans across different regions of the Atlas Mountains during past decades.
In the context of Amazigh rugs, the term vintage refers to pieces woven by previous generations that have endured over time while preserving the quality of their wool and the strength of their compositions. Many of these rugs were originally created for domestic use within their own communities.
Each piece is unique and has been individually selected for the singularity of its colour palette, its composition, or its textile presence. As with most vintage rugs, variations in the weave, natural wear to the wool, or small repairs made over time may be visible. Rather than diminishing its value, these elements contribute to the rug’s character and strength.
We try to photograph each rug as faithfully as possible. If you need more images or additional information, we will be delighted to help you.
Before shipping, all our rugs are carefully brushed.

Care Instructions
Wool is a natural fibre with self-cleaning properties, so it does not require intensive cleaning.
If a stain appears, act quickly: blot the liquid without rubbing and clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Avoid chemical products that could damage the fibres or affect the colour. Leave the rug to air dry.
Natural fibres do not respond well to excessive water or intensive mechanical cleaning. The use of a washing machine is also not recommended.
Air the rug from time to time, even in some sunlight, to help keep it in good condition. It is also advisable to rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
Avoiding the use of shoes and, if possible, placing a rug pad underneath can help protect the rug and extend its lifespan.
If the rug requires a deeper clean, we recommend taking it to a professional cleaning service.
