Boujad rugs originate from the Khouribga region in central Morocco and are recognised for their warm backgrounds in earthy pink and terracotta tones, as well as their geometric compositions enriched with vivid accents of colour within the motifs.

The background is composed of salmon and peach tones, with natural variations in colour that bring movement and depth to the surface. Across it runs a network of interconnected diamonds outlined in dark brown, structuring the entire composition. Within each motif, accents of fuchsia pink and soft aqua blue add points of colour and rhythm. The contrast between the gentle background and these vivid details is what gives the piece its distinctive vitality.
