Berber Boujad rug in natural wool, high-pile with an ecru ground and dusty-pink washes. The surface reads like a scene: aqua triangles and bands, a black figure to one side, a small tree with red fruit, and a row of aubergine blocks below.

It belongs to our Archive selection: rugs woven decades ago and kept intact, their wool and weave spared the wear of time. As with any handmade work, slight variations in weft, knot or colour may appear; we photograph each piece as faithfully as possible, though tones may shift with the light of each screen.
