Handwoven vintage Boujad rug in wool. Boujad rugs originate from the Khouribga region and are known for their free compositions and expressive palettes. This piece moves away from repeated geometry towards a more pictorial approach — blocks of colour, stripes, triangles, and irregular shapes distributed across the surface as if assembled in a collage.

The palette is soft yet varied: a grey base in the lower half and an undyed natural tone in the upper section, with blocks of soft green, pink, red, and blue distributed asymmetrically across the composition.

It works particularly well in living rooms, study areas, or bedrooms where a rug with personality and artistic character is desired. This is a piece for those looking for something distinctive.

You have 14 days from the date you receive the rug to return it. The rug must be returned in the same condition in which it was sent. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Care Instructions

For regular maintenance, simply vacuum gently using a medium or low setting and avoiding aggressive rotating brushes. If the size allows, vacuum in different directions to remove dust more effectively. You can also shake the rug out or air it occasionally.

Wool is a natural fibre with self-cleaning properties, so it does not require intensive cleaning.

If a stain appears, act quickly: blot the liquid without rubbing and clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Avoid chemical products that could damage the fibres or affect the colour. Leave the rug to air dry.

Natural fibres do not respond well to excessive water or intensive mechanical cleaning. The use of a washing machine is also not recommended.

Air the rug from time to time, even in some sunlight, to help keep it in good condition. It is also advisable to rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.

Avoiding the use of shoes and, if possible, placing a rug pad underneath can help protect the rug and extend its lifespan.
