Berber rug in the Boujad tradition, in an elongated format, handwoven in wool. Against a warm ground of salmon and apricot, broken by patches of vivid orange, a column of concentric diamonds runs down the centre, outlined in turquoise-green and coral pink, its edges bound in violet, in the faded, shifting palette characteristic of Boujad pieces.
It is a vintage piece. As with any handcrafted work, and all the more in a rug with years behind it, slight variations in pattern, texture or measurements may appear, along with small traces of time that are part of its history. We photograph it as faithfully as possible.
