Description

Vintage rug woven from undyed natural wool using a tightly looped technique that gives the surface a uniform texture and a solidity that is immediately noticeable underfoot.

This piece works particularly well in entrance halls, hallways, or at the foot of a bed, where its central motif can be fully appreciated. It also sits naturally within a neutral-toned living room, bringing character and depth without overwhelming the space.

As with any handwoven vintage piece, it may display small variations or signs of age and use that form part of its history and character.

We endeavor to describe and display each piece with the utmost precision. As a piece with a previous life, it may show slight signs of use or minor repairs.

Returns

You have 14 days from the date you receive the rug to return it. The rug must be returned in the same condition in which it was sent. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Care Instructions

For regular maintenance, simply vacuum gently using a medium or low setting and avoiding aggressive rotating brushes. If the size allows, vacuum in different directions to remove dust more effectively. You can also shake the rug out or air it occasionally.

Wool is a natural fibre with self-cleaning properties, so it does not require intensive cleaning.

If a stain appears, act quickly: blot the liquid without rubbing and clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Avoid chemical products that could damage the fibres or affect the colour. Leave the rug to air dry.

Natural fibres do not respond well to excessive water or intensive mechanical cleaning. The use of a washing machine is also not recommended.

Air the rug from time to time, even in some sunlight, to help keep it in good condition. It is also advisable to rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.

Avoiding the use of shoes and, if possible, placing a rug pad underneath can help protect the rug and extend its lifespan.

If the rug requires a deeper clean, we recommend taking it to a professional cleaning service.
