This rug is part of our selection of contemporary-made rugs, pieces recently woven by amazigh craftswomen using traditional techniques.

Handwoven in wool. Undyed natural background with a long pile and a highly restrained composition in bluish-grey tones. Three vertical columns of elongated organic shapes run from top to bottom, and at the centre of each column a filled dark blue diamond acts as an anchoring point.

This is a piece for spaces that value calm. The design feels contemporary, while the material and technique remain traditional — dense wool, long pile, handwoven craftsmanship. It works particularly well in bedrooms, neutral-toned living rooms, or entrance spaces where a piece with character is desired without visual noise. It also gains presence when displayed on a wall.
